Debbie Keller from U. Akron, Summit College, will be in the Business Division Friday Mar 11 from 11:30 until 1:00 pm to talk with students and answer questions about U. Akron’s (Summit College’s) new Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems – Networking Option.

We anticipate an articulation agreement to be in place for Fall 2005. A mapping of LCCC CIS networking courses to Akron University’s Computer Information Systems – Networking Option is expected to be completed during spring semester, 2004. Ohio Board of Regents approved U Akron (Summit College’s) bachelor degree during the fall 2004.

Youngstown State University:

We anticipate a transfer agreement between LCCC and YSU by spring semester, 2004. After completing your associates degree in CIS - Network Communications Technology or CIS – Software Development you would transfer to YSU to complete your last two years of a bachelor degree.
